Growing up in the Dutch Caribbean, BECK designer Rebecca Zeijdel-Paz spent her childhood amongst turquoise waters and white beaches. Rebecca’s passion for classical art led her to study in Florence, and her appreciation for classical design landed her an apprenticeship at Carolina Herrera New York.

BECK early on established a recognizable aesthetic heavily focused on color and light using sparkling Swarovski crystals and vibrant semi-precious stones. Recurrently drawing from her Caribbean roots and love for spiritual stones, Rebecca ultimately draws inspiration from her own travels around the world and is a true, living embodiment of her designs.

Today, after 6 years in the industry each BECK is still handcrafted by the designer in her ateliers in Curaçao, Miami and New York.  BECK’s ultimate goal is to provide her clientele with quality, unique pieces soaked in island glamour.

“The feeling I strive to create for my client is of a casual elegance,

one that will allow her to feel part of our effortless, Caribbean-chic lifestyle.

As soon as she puts on her BECK jewel, I want her to feel special no matter

what she’s wearing or where she’s going...”
