BECK designer, Rebecca, merges her travels abroad and living in NYC with her island's unique vibe. She loves to pair her chunky, colorful 'BECKlaces' with flowy white tunics and using sparkling Swarovski crystals to bring the element of tropical luxe to any look.
Curaçao will always be the main source of inspiration, its not only were BECK was first founded but it also serves as the gorgeous backdrop to most of the brand's Instagram photos and catalogs...

CURAÇAO (Kòrsou) is an island in the southern Caribbean Sea, north of the Venezuelan coast, that forms part of the Dutch Caribbean. Curaçao is a country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It has a population of over 150,000 on an area of 444 km2 and its capital is Willemstad.
Curaçao is a polyglot society. Most of Curaçao's population is able to converse in at least two of the languages of Papiamentu, Dutch, English, and Spanish. "Despite the island's relatively small population, the diversity of languages and cultural influences on Curaçao have generated a remarkable literary tradition." Local food is called Krioyo and boasts a blend of flavors and techniques best compared to Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.
* The name "Curaçao" has become associated with a shade of blue, because of the deep-blue version of the liqueur named Curaçao (also known as Blue Curaçao).
